Omar Mateen (1986-2016), an American security guard, carried out the deadliest mass murder on US soil since 9/11, killing at least 49 people and injuring 53 others. This was on June 12th 2016 at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, not far from Disney World. Most of those killed were Latino.
Mateen entered the nightclub at two in the morning when security was loose. There were 300 people there. He had an assault rifle (AR-15, pictured) and a handgun. He opened fire and just kept shooting, stopping only to reload. When the police arrived, he took at least 30 hostages. The stand-off lasted till five in the morning when he was killed in a shoot-out with police.
There was blood everywhere – and bodies with ringing mobile phones.
The US press and politicians were quick to call it terrorism and blame ISIS.
ISIS has claimed Mateen as one of their fighters, but did not claim credit for the massacre itself. So far there is no proof they directed it. ISIS did, however, call for acts of terror during Ramadan, a holy month of fasting which this year runs from about June 6th to July 5th. June is also Gay Pride Month in the US.
The FBI has looked into Mateen’s possible ties to terrorists three times before but found nothing: in 2013 with Hezbollah and al-Qaeda and in 2014 with al-Nusra. He said he belonged to Hezbollah, an enemy of ISIS, but it just seemed to be big talk.
Mateen called police right before the shooting and said something about ISIS – and something about the Tsarnaev brothers, supporters of al-Nusra, also an enemy of ISIS.
Mateen’s ex-wife, Sitora Yusufiy, said when they were married in 2009 he did not seem to have any ties to terrorists, but did want to be a police officer. Even back then he hated gays. He was also violent, beating her for little reason. She said he is sick in the head.
Mateen’s father, Seddique Mateen, also said he hated gays. He said it had nothing to do with religion. His father, by the way, ran for president of Afghanistan in 2015. He has been at the US State Department. Mateen’s parents are from Afghanistan, but Mateen himself was born in the US, in New York City.
According to Pew Research, US Muslims are not any more likely to be homophobic than Americans of other religions.
Sarah Kate Ellis, president of GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), says the Orlando Massacre was mainly home-grown homophobia:
“There were over 100 anti-LGBT laws rulings passed this last year and that creates an environment of hate, which leads to discrimination and that turns to violence. This is a cycle we are seeing.”
In fact, that same day James Howell was arrested when he was on his way to shoot up a gay pride parade in West Hollywood, California. He did not have a Muslim-sounding name or suspected ties to terrorists. But he did have three assault rifles.
Assault rifles were banned in the US from 1994 to 2004.

Some people continue to put words in the Lord’s mouth. He never stated that he loves all people or come just as you are, or in the alternative, do what in the hell you want to do is the common saying. These are the same people who are incapable of producing a scripture to backup their point. But yet, they attempt to justify their wicked behavior by saying things about God that are not true. God clearly hates effeminate men and women who attempt to play the role of a man. The good Lord has a penchant for order, not disorder. 1 Corinthians 6:9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.”
Even further, Leviticus 20:13 “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
For a man to place his rod into the buttocks of another man is certainly an abomination. The same thing goes for a woman who have desires to eat deliciously with another woman. Proverbs 30:20 “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.”
People who engage in this behavior are forever cursed. What took place at this night club is without a doubt, a vengeful act by God due to the transgressions of His laws!
Even further, some people love to place God in a box by saying He is one dimensional because He’s only capable of LOVE. However, this isn’t so. He loves, He hates, He’s angry, He is sometimes evil and sometimes furious. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

And referring to a woman in such derogatory fashion doesn’t at all comport with the love.

I give you permission to return once you’ve gained understanding of the Bible. And once again, that night club shooting was in fact an act of God!

In Michigan, way back in the day, some farmer, pissed about increased property tax, set off a bunch of explosives he had placed around the new local schoolhouse, killing and/or burning to death a bunch of kids. I wonder how much of this is a backlash against the legalization of same-sex marriage in the US. Not just what Omar Mateen did but what James Wesley Howell planned to do and all the anti-LGBTQ legislation passed over the last year.

If white people demented enough can mass murder, and there have been a lot, and be seen as individuals, why can’t every other group?

It increasingly looks like Omar Mateen was himself a closeted gay or bisexual who frequented the very same club where he committed this atrocity.
He must have been filled with self-hatred and loathing. He couldn’t resolve his inner conflict and unfortunately not only decided to kill himself but to take innocent people with him.

While there has been an intense focus on the murderer, Omar Mateen, his victims stories have been slow to surface.
Nearly half of those murdered included 23 Puerto Ricans. Many of those murdered were recent transplants fleeing the grave financial crisis in Puerto Rico.

I’m sure the media will spin it differently. In fact, the Daily Mail in the UK insists that Mateen “promised not to shoot any black people because they had ‘suffered enough’. Yet, Mateen chose to intensify the suffering of Black and Latino people.

There seems to be a lot of unanswered questions in Amerika’s mass shooting episodes (and coverups).
What I find interesting is that the shooter entered the nightclub around 2am. It took the cops about 3 HOURS to take the shooter out.
THREE HOURS?
Now there’s an idea going around that some cops might be responsible for gunning down patrons. Seems like there’s many questions needing answers.

My understanding is that once police arrived, Mateen took hostages which led to a stand-off, something that could easily last hours. With Robert Dear, who attacked an abortion clinic in Colorado, the stand-off was five hours. Dear, unlike Mateen, seemed to have no sort of training (but was also taken alive)..

Ever notice how their are no conspiracy or “truthers’ when it comes to “patriot” violence like the Oklahoma bombings, David Koresh, and abortion violence ?
9/11 was the start of this trend. VIolent acts like Sandy Hook, the Boston bombings and this one are reported to have had the same “actors” playing victim’s. Their are pictures from this event of mannequins being led out on stretchers.
People like Alex Jones play this stuff up because it makes good click bait and drives traffic. Fear sells. Distrust of the government and the government is out to take away white people’s rights is in part what is behind this in social media.
Social media wasn’t around during the Oklahoma bombings or the David Koresh standoff. Today though anybody can photoshop, make a website and create stories.
The incompetence of the FBI, locale police and homeland securities inability to connect the dots doesn’t help. They need to share information in a data base that ties these agencies together.
Some on the left do this too like claiming the reason Sanders lost in some places was because of chem trails that were reported to be in the sky’s on voting day. I do think voter fraud on both sides of the aisle happens. Supposedly thier are 100,000’s of uncounted ballots still in California, so on some topics I’m not sure who to believe.
I know that the U.S. Government has done false flags in the past to get the U.S. into wars and has done horrendous things like experiment on American citizens without their knowledge.
So I don’t trust the government much either but personally I am a healthy skeptic and anticipated that their would be false stories coming out of this tragedy.
One thing not reported in the mainstream press that I saw in an interview of one of the survivors was that Omar said he was doing this act because the U.S. “was bombing his country”. That is not a narrative the corperate media will dwell on. The unintended consequences of our interventionist policies and war leads to blow back.
The coperate media seems to be over emphasizing the gun issue as the fix all solution while ignoring the hate crime, the effects of heretical Islam, the government’s inability to identify terrorists and how these acts are a direct result of U.S. foreign policy.

It’s why the Oklahoma City bombing occurred on April 19th, 1995, it was two years to the day after the Waco siege and the death of David Koresh and his followers.
McVeigh sold ATF hats that were riddled with bullet holes, he sold flare guns that were supposed to shoot down an “ATF helicopter”.
There are conspiracy theories that there were explosives planted inside the Murrow building in Oklahoma City, that the CIA was part of the bombing.

My broader point is that false flag theories appear within days of the event whereas before social media these kinds of theories were only published in the hard copy fringe media and not widely dispersed.
I had never heard of CIA connection to the Oklahoma bombings until you mentioned it.

I have always felt the government over stepped in how they took the Davidians down. They were a religious cult and Koresh had married under age girls. I’m not sure if burning the place down and killing most of them was the best response.
So the Internet is a great tool and exchanging instant information, peer to peer transactions, Uber type business, apps, cyber currencies ect are a part of the globalization of communicating. That said it is also has its dark corners and all info has to be checked, parsed and weighed to confirm if it’s valid.

In thinking about Waco it may have been the first time the government had destroyed a white community in modern history. If the Waco community had been Black I doubt the white right would have embraced it as a kind of rallying point.

This can be said for the Main Stream Media as well. Especially in this day and age when a rather small number of elites own and control ALL of the more powerful news-tainment venues that is broadcasted at us…
We’re being bombarded with all sorts of nonsense, while shut off from a lot of real and investigative NEWS we ought to know about.
I guess that’s part of keeping us dumb, manageable and easier to control, AND why *whistle blowers* are ostracized, unprotected and looked down upon, AND why our schools are getting dumber and dumber.

Terrible tragedy…which I wouldn’t say it has nothing to do with Islam. Mateen was raised in a Muslim household by a father who thinks his god will kill homosexuals. Countries where Islam is the state religion are the primary ones which currently have death penalty for being homosexual and have enforced it. These include Saudi Arabia and Iran where “radical” ISIS is not in control. Sharia law is interpreted as prescribing death for a lot of things just as the Jewish Mosaic Law does (dare not pick up sticks on the Sabbath or you could be stoned to death: Numbers 15:32-36).
The contribution of Islam was to his homophobia regardless of whether he was gay himself. I don’t believe he was truly a solider for ISIS despite his pledges of allegience. There was definitely an element of personal anti-gay hatred involved. He chose to attack a gay bar frequented by minorities in order to make his ostensible political statement. Yet this represents an intersection of groups that a significant number of Americans dislike and will have limited empathy for. In that sense, they’re not a great target unless you have personal motivations.

Also, I laugh at most of the commenters decrying this crime, when the vast majority of them are homophobes & transphobes themselves, as proven by their past comments on this blog.
Do you really think your fellow human beings are so stupid that they can’t read what you wrote, in your own words, of your own free will?
The victims of this atrocity did not choose to die. But you all chose to spend your entire life condeming them, treating them as subhumans, and this – like every other hate crime – is the result. You are complicit. So spare me your crocodile tears.
