Remarks:
This is still, unfortunately, my favourite Christmas song. Even Bethlehem itself will not be celebrating Christmas this year of 2023 because of the war in Gaza, the worst violence the Holy Land has seen since the 1940s, with more than a half million at the edge of famine.
Lyrics:
Someday at Christmas men won’t be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm December our hearts will see
A world where men are free
Someday at Christmas there’ll be no wars
When we have learned what Christmas is for
When we have found what life’s really worth
There’ll be peace on earth
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime
Someday at Christmas we’ll see a land
With no hungry children, no empty hand
One happy morning people will share
Our world where people care
Someday at Christmas there’ll be no tears
All men are equal and no men have fears
One shinning moment my heart ran away
From our world today
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime
Someday at Christmas man will not fail
Take hope because your love will prevail
Someday a new world that we can start
With hope in every heart
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime
Someday at Christmastime
Yeah a song by a blind African American
About a holiday at the end of the year ,
because some believe a imaginary character was born on that day and a another imaginary goes all around the world the night before giving out gifts ,
How ,by magic and fantasy.
Both are white males – but it still doesn’t explain the associated images here are white military members grieving,
Oh white people are currently still killing mass numbers of black and brown and even other white people, and getting away with it
I guess some would to like to worship and be subservient in peace, but since it’s not based on that
Looks like you get what you deserve, maybe

This song made me cry the first time I heard it as a child, and it still moves me. It is beautiful and profoundly sad at the same time.
