Ukraine (1918-23, 1991- ) is a country the size of France next to Russia. On February 24th 2022 Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the most terrible event in White history since the Second World War (1939-45).
- Location: 49°N 32°E, north of Black Sea, what the ancient Greeks called Scythia or Sarmatia.
- Population: 41 million Real White People as of January 2022, down from 52m in the 1990s.
- megadeath events:
- 1932-33: Holodomor famine: 3.5 to 10 million.
- 1939-45: Second World War: 6.85 million, of which:
- 1941-44: Holocaust: 1.2 to 1.6 million.
- megadeath events:
- Major cities: Kyiv, the capital, aka Kiev (3.0m), Kharkiv (1.4m), Odessa (1.0m).
- Language: Ukrainian (68%), Russian (30%) as first languages. Most know Russian as a second language.
- Religion: 86% Christian (71% Orthodox, 11% Catholic), 11% agnostic, 2% atheist. Catholicism is strongest in the west, near Poland.
- Life expectancy: 68.5 years for men.
- Internet code: ua.
- Famous sons and daughters: Leonid Brezhnev, Trotsky, Sandra Dee, Cossacks.
History: Ukraine is part of the Eurasian steppe that stretches all the way to Mongolia, long the haunt of nomad warriors: Scythians, Sarmatians, Huns, Goths, Turks, Mongols, Cossacks, etc. And the prize of anyone wanting to become a Eurasian overlord – Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Hitler and now Vladimir Putin (the first person to bomb Kyiv since Hitler). Over the past 2,000 years Slavic farmers have slowly spread across Ukraine, turning its rich black soil to the plough, making it into the breadbasket of Russia.
In the 800s, the people who would become Ukrainians, Belarussians and Russians lived in one country – Kievan Rus’ (879-1240) – and spoke one language – Old East Slavic. But after hundreds of years of Polish and Lithuanian rule, the Ukrainians and Belarussians became a different people than the Russians. Their language turned into Ruthenian (circa 1350-1800) and then Ukrainian and Belarussian. The difference between the Ukrainian and Russian languages is roughly like that between Portuguese and Spanish. Putin and Russians who think like him see Ukrainians as white trash.
In the 1800s the Ukrainians fell firmly under Russian rule. Government attempts to Russify them largely failed.
For most of the 1900s Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, the Russian Empire in communist form. Ukraine had 60% of its coal, produced 20% of its grain, and, during the Second World War, provided much of its scorched earth. In 1939 it was assigned part of Poland (never given back), and in 1954, Crimea. In 1991 the Soviet Union fell apart and Ukraine became an independent nation. It was briefly a nuclear power but gave up its atom bombs for promises of security by Russia, the US and UK. Henhouse meets foxes.
In the 2000s, Ukraine became a determined democracy, with street protests pushing out pro-Russian rulers in revolutions Orange (2004-05) and Maidan (2013-14).
In 2014, Putin took Crimea and supported uprisings in the eastern border provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk. All three are parts of Ukraine where most speak Russian as their first language.
In February 2022 Putin recognized Donetsk and Luhansk independence and offered its people Russian passports – which then allowed him to send in the Russian military to protect them from “genocide” by Ukraine’s “Nazi” government. His claims of genocide and Nazi rule are unfounded.

True. It was extremely foolish of them but they were willing to dance to any tune the ‘West’ called.

That’s a shaky limb you climbed on. Can you vouch that during the 8 years of civil war in that region no atrocities were committed by ‘democrats’ such as the Stepan Bandera devotees? You do know who this gentleman was, right? Please tell us what role his fans played in the Maidan riots and don’t stop there, tell us what Victoria “F**k the EU.” Nuland’s role was in picking the prime minister of the Ukraine, an allegedly ‘independent’ ‘democratic’ nation. Not surprised that you would write this nonsense. You’re just a ‘woke’ version of Yankee imperialism.

Wasn’t Trotsky the one who invented the word “racism” as a way to slander Whites who aren’t self-hating?
Perhaps if Ukrainians become refugees, we can take them into Canada/US/Aus/NZ, kick out the non-Western migrant groups, and the Ukrainians can take their jobs. That way, we can restore our demographics without a labor shortage (I don’t want any non-Afrikaner or possibly non-Dutch Whites moving to South Africa, since Afrikaners are only about 3/5 of the White population)

Ukraine is a bigger, Whiter country than Yugoslavia was, so this is worse. In 1991 Yugoslavia had about 23.5 million people and many of those were Muslim! Despite what certain Albanian commenters might like to think, the death of Muslims or their desperately fleeing war is not something True White People lose any sleep over.

As always, a generally well-researched summary. But there are some glaring holes.
The birth of Orthodox Russia is given as occurring in the 10th Century in the city of Kiev. The Crimea, which is the crux of the conflict between Russia and the Ukraine, is historic Russian territory. The Crimea was transferred to Ukrainian administration during the 1950s partly due to the motive of simple administrative convenience. The Soviet leadership in that era did not make decisions based on the presumption that the Soviet Union would no longer exist within 35 years.
The Ukraine did not pass out of existence between 1923 and 1991. It was one of the republics which constituted the Soviet Union.
The West has always attempted to treat the dissolution of Soviet Union as a decolonization process akin to decolonization in Africa, where national boundaries were dictated from without and not permitted to change even though they cut across numerous ethnic, tribal, language and religious boundaries and across the boundaries of historic nations also.
The American establishment in its perspective of the recent past and the near future, a few simple-minded parallels and its preoccupation with the series of improvised agreements which were created after the dissolution of the Soviet Union refuses to recognize the Helsinki Accords of 1976 as the foundational post-World War II strategic settlement in Europe.
The situation in Europe at of the early 2000s called for a second stage of the Helsinki process, one which would settle the boundaries beyond the borders of the former Soviet Union and a define the scope and role of NATO.
If it is not clear what I am saying here, let me clarify, I am saying the Ukraine has been to a degree a renegade state resisting the order which grew up out the outcome of World War II and that Russia’s complaints are valid,
Unfortunately, with what Russia has done in invading the Ukraine has made the matter of a settlement very much more difficult to pursue. It may require the removal, retirement or death in office of Vladimir Putin before it can occur and even so generations of resentment will be left behind.
Nevertheless, something needs to be asked of the Ukraine in return for Western support, and it is this. Give up the territories that belong to other countries.

Russia was invaded and lost millions in three western operations-Napoleon, the intervention by the “Western Powers” to try to overthrow the Bolshevik government, and of course by the Nazis. Russia sought security from an expansionist NATO. There were agreements and promises about that but all denied or broken. The West has refused to guarantee the security Russia sought. Russia has taken appropriate action in supporting the self-determination right of the Dombass people. At that point Russia had a strategic and political advantage. the invasion of Ukraine was unnecessary at that point. Negotiations could have been productive if the USA would have agreed. A neutral, non-nuclear Ukraine might have emerged.

Very informative and timely…thankyou.
some questions I am pondering….
Did not the US/NATO ignore international law and sovereignty rights…etc…etc.. with the war in Iraq/Afghanistan and the subsequent interference in politics/democracy of those nations?
….a global system in which one group of people privilege themselves with rights and entitlements that they deny to others is an apartheid system.
If U.S./NATO give themselves the privilege of invading other countries on lies and lame excuses…then other countries should be able to do the same?.. if not then ALL should be held to the same standard. …?….
what would a sensible standard look like…?….
Democracy —is a political system in which the majority rules?…if within such system, special provisions (such as degrees of autonomy…etc) are given to minority groups—it might be fair? (or not?) but democracy in itself does not necessarily guarantee equality —(Israel/Palestine, U.S. France…etc.) because the founding principle of this system is majority rule. (….?)
(Communism does not create equality either….)
Valeriepieris circle—apparently…most of the worlds population lives in this circle—if democracy is an important ideal—then the global system should be ruled by the “majority”—or the nations within this cirlce….instead it is ruled by an apartheid minority?……

“the most terrible event in White history since the Second World War (1939-45).” I’m calling BS on this one. The Korean War, Vietnam and 9-11 all moved the country to war and will likely result in more White deaths. The Globalist Elites are having trouble getting the US masses to want to get involved even. Very few people want to start a war over this.
I’m personally a bit conflicted re: this conflict. While I have some sympathy for the rank and file Ukrainian people. I was disgusted when the US staged a color revolution in 2014 to topple the democratically elected president of Ukraine to set up someone who was US/NATO friendly and then more disgusted when they tried to push NATO membership onto Ukraine. It’s reasonable for Russia to take that personally, the same way the US would if the USSR planned to send nukes to Cuba.
Anyway, none of this would have happened if the US had let Ukraine remain a neutral state and not tried to push it into NATO. Ukraine couldn’t accept the small breakaway provinces (since 2014) with Russian populations who clearly didn’t want to be part of Ukraine and kept attacking them. Russia gave warning after warning after warning about this. Some in Ukraine said they needed to rearm with nuclear weapons. Russia felt like they needed to take this action now to protect themselves. The fact that official death tolls are only a few hundred at this time indicates that, contrary to MSM lies, the Russians are not trying to massacre civilians. My hope would be that Russia takes Kiev quickly to end the fighting, but the West is egging on Ukraine to fight and lose more lives for nothing.
There are two sides to every story, but 100% of what you will hear on the MSM is anti-Russian. It’s pretty ridiculous.
Sad to say, but the US really is the evil empire, with the unelected deep state (including CIA) deciding all kinds of world affairs in which they have no business meddling. Don’t believe all the propaganda you hear from it. Oh and since Ukraine went pro-West they have gotten poorer relative to Russia and they are observably more corrupt than Russia—these are some of the people giving the Bidens money for influence. Disgusting. Current President happens to be a Jewish former actor (though you didn’t mention Jews in the population numbers even). Quite a coincidence I’m sure.

munubantu said, “Former President Trump have been praising the Russia’s leader for his attitudes vis-a-vis Ukraine, including the invasion of that country.”
This is either sheer ignorance or a bald-faced lie. Trump has said Russia took advantage of Biden’s weakness/ineptitude and that this wouldn’t have happened when he was President. According to recent polling, the vast majority of the US people agree with him. He wouldn’t have pushed Ukraine to join NATO (he was tough with Ukraine and got impeached for it. Coincidentally, Vindman is another one of those statistically insignificant Ukranian Jews). Trump also made it clear that he wouldn’t have tolerated an attack on Ukraine and even threatened to bomb Moscow in response ( https://nypost.com/2022/02/22/trump-talks-threatening-putin-mocking-merkel-at-mar-a-lago/ ). He pushes both parties toward a reasonable compromise. That’s what he does.
However, I think you must be right. Biden is going to do great in 2024 if he survives that long. He’s incredibly popular right now. Americans believe he’s articulate and competent (just look at his handling of Afghanistan before this Ukraine brilliance). Americans like abagond are smart enough to realize that the record inflation we’ve seen, which has impoverished average Americans, was all due to Putin’s evil machinations and had nothing to do with the trillions Biden and the elites he represents pumped into the system in the last year+, which, coincidentally, has increased their net worth to record levels.

Book Review – Losing Military Supremacy by Andrei Martyanov

[This article was written for the Unz Review]
The fact that the USA is facing a profound crisis, possibly the worst one in its history, is accepted by most observers, except maybe the most delusional ones. Most Americans definitely know that. In fact, if there is one thing upon which both those who supported Trump and those who hate him with a passion can agree on, it would be that his election is a clear proof of a profound crisis (I would argue that the election of Obama before also had, as one of its main causes, the very same systemic crisis). When speaking of this crisis, most people will mention the deindustrialization, the drop in real income, the lack of well-paid jobs, healthcare, crime, immigration, pollution, education, and a myriad of other contributing factors. But of all the aspects of the “American dream”, the single most resilient one has been the myth of the US military as “the finest fighting force in history”. In this new book, Andrei Martianov not only comprehensively debunks this myth, he explains step by step how this myth was created and why it is collapsing now. This is no small feat, especially in a relatively short book (225 pages) which is very well written and accessible to everyone, not just military specialists.
Martyanov takes a systematic and step-by-step approach: first, he defines military power, then he explains where the myth of US military superiority came from and how the US rewriting of the history of WWII resulted in a complete misunderstanding, especially at the top political levels, of the nature of modern warfare. He then discusses the role ideology and the Cold War played in further exacerbating the detachment of US leaders from reality. Finally, he demonstrates how a combination of delusional narcissism and outright corruption resulted in a US military capable of wasting truly phenomenal sums of money on “defense” while at the same time resulting in an actual force unable to win a war against anything but a weak and defenseless enemy.”

Just surprised you guys read it, especially after it got taken off Google searches, Facebook links, etc. for presenting evidence that Covid came from Chinese labs funded with US money (before that became widely accepted as the most plausible scenario).
Do I think Trump would really have bombed Moscow? Of course not. He just needed to push both Ukraine and Russia to reach a compromise they could both live with. The globalists/oligarchs currently in control of the US through the illegitimate Biden puppet regime now didn’t do that at all. They encouraged Ukraine to taunt and test Russia as much as possible. We’ll see how that works out for them.

Most governments worldwide are little more than “puppet regimes” of global oligarchs at this point in time. This state of affairs has been true since the Reagan Administration.
They rule through fear, resentment and division. They thrive on priviledged groups plotting genocide and other atrocities against weaker groups.
They hope when those priviledged groups make their move, they can sell weapons to both sides and count their coins on a beach in the South Pacific.

“Just surprised you guys read it, especially after it got taken off Google searches, Facebook links, etc. for presenting evidence that Covid came from Chinese labs funded with US money (before that became widely accepted as the most plausible scenario).”
You’re a little confused about Ron Unz’s take on Covid, his take is diametrically opposed to what you claim.
On 5/12/2021 I wrote the following: “I hoped you’d drag Nicholas Wade into the conversation because that allows me to throw Ron Unz’s analysis of said article. Like you, Mr. Unz was impressed with Wade’s article but felt obliged to point out one missing hypothesis that the Chinese have been pushing from the start. A biological attack on China by the USA. He ascribes that action to ‘rogue’ elements of the deep state. An apt description of the Trump regime er, administration, in my opinion. I suspected as much when I pointed out how similar the whole thing was to Jack London’s 1910 story: “The unparalleled Invasion”.
I’m not saying that hypothesis is proven, only that it’s as good as the Wuhan lab leak. Being a fair minded dude, I have no doubt you will look at that aspect and come back here with your ‘expert’ opinion.
I’ll excerpt the salient part of Mr. Unz’s argument for the delicate types who don’t wish to be exposed to the extreme racism of Unz’s website.
“Exactly the same glaring omission is found in Wade’s 11,000 word article. Taken together, Lemoine, Baker, and Wade have produced a large collection of high-quality articles on the origins of the global Covid-19 epidemic, but nowhere among their 54,000 words is there even a hint that the virus might possibly have had its origins in America’s well-documented and lavishly funded biowarfare program. For several years, our newspapers have proclaimed that we are now locked into a new Cold War against China, with some risk that it might turn hot. But the obvious possible implications of the sudden, potentially-devastating outbreak of a dangerous viral epidemic in our leading international adversary remains unmentionable, too explosive even to dismissed or ridiculed, let alone carefully considered…Although the coronavirus is only moderately lethal, apparently having a fatality rate of 1% or less, it is extremely contagious, including during an extended pre-symptomatic period and also among asymptomatic carriers. Thus, portions of the US and Europe are now suffering heavy casualties, while the policies adopted to control the spread have devastated their national economies. The virus is unlikely to kill more than a small sliver of our population, but we have seen to our dismay how a major outbreak can so easily wreck our entire economic life.
During January, the journalists reporting on China’s mushrooming health crisis regularly emphasized that the mysterious new viral outbreak had occurred at the worst possible place and time, appearing in the major transport hub of Wuhan just prior to the Lunar New Year holiday, when hundreds of millions of Chinese would normally travel to their distant family homes for the celebration, thereby potentially spreading the disease to all parts of the country and producing a permanent, uncontrollable epidemic. The Chinese government avoided that grim fate by the unprecedented decision to shut down its entire national economy and confine 700 million Chinese to their own homes for many weeks. But the outcome seems to have been a very near thing, and if Wuhan had remained open for just a few days longer, China might easily have suffered long-term economic and social devastation.
The timing of an accidental laboratory release would obviously be entirely random. Yet the outbreak seems to have begun during the precise period of time most likely to damage China, the worst possible ten-day or perhaps thirty-day window. As I noted in January, I saw no solid evidence that the coronavirus was a bioweapon, but if it were, the timing of the release seemed very unlikely to have been accidental.
Consider also the preceding waves of other unfortunate viral epidemics that had recently ravaged China:
[D]uring the previous two years, the Chinese economy had already suffered serious blows from other mysterious new diseases, although these had targeted farm animals rather than people. During 2018 a new Avian Flu virus had swept the country, eliminating large portions of China’s poultry industry, and during 2019 the Swine Flu viral epidemic had devastated China’s pig farms, destroying 40% of the nation’s primary domestic source of meat, with widespread claims that the latter disease was being spread by mysterious small drones. My morning newspapers had hardly ignored these important business stories, noting that the sudden collapse of much of China’s domestic food production might prove a huge boon to American farm exports at the height of our trade conflict, but I had never considered the obvious implications. So for three years in a row, China had been severely impacted by strange new viral diseases, though only the most recent had been deadly to humans. This evidence was merely circumstantial, but the pattern seemed highly suspicious…
But with the horrific consequences of our own later governmental inaction being obvious, elements within our intelligence agencies have sought to demonstrate that they were not the ones asleep at the switch. Earlier this month, an ABC News story cited four separate government sources to reveal that as far back as late November, a special medical intelligence unit within our Defense Intelligence Agency had produced a report warning that an out-of-control disease epidemic was occurring in the Wuhan area of China, and widely distributed that document throughout the top ranks of our government, warning that steps should be taken to protect US forces based in Asia. After the story aired, a Pentagon spokesman officially denied the existence of that November report, while various other top level government and intelligence officials refused to comment. But a few days later, Israeli television mentioned that in November American intelligence had indeed shared such a report on the Wuhan disease outbreak with its NATO and Israeli allies, thus seeming to independently confirm the complete accuracy of the original ABC News story and its several government sources.”
Abagond, I’ve counted the number of words in the quote, it is 783, I think that’s below your word count quotation rule.
If the ABC News story is true, how did US intelligence agencies know about “an out-of-control disease epidemic was occurring in the Wuhan area of China” before the Chinese?”

Afrofem, weirdly enough, I don’t actually disagree with your latest comment (though I wonder how people here who believed that could support Joe Biden, who is so obviously a tool of the oligarchs).
gro jo, the material you quoted specifically said it was for the Unz Review, but the Saker is actually the best current source for real (non GAE propaganda) news on Ukraine. So it’s interesting that you mention that.
And you still admit to reading Unz. Lolz! Yes, I think Unz himself believes/believed that the US intentionally spread the virus. You are right that I misremembered/misstated that. Others on his site may have discussed the China lab leak from research funded by the US (or I may be confusing things–it was a matter discussed mainly on alterative/dissident media for some time). The main point I was trying to make was that Unz believes he was essentially banned for taking an unapproved stance on the coronavirus origins.
Anyway, cool that you (and maybe others here?) are at least reading that stuff. I never think of you guys as dissidents (not sure how dissidents could support the Biden regime), but you at least have more open minds about some things than your average run-of-the-mill Internet denizens.

Telling African Americans (a large block of abagond’s readership) that they have to go back to Africa isn’t likely to win them to your cause or help anyone here from “losing heart”. In fact, it makes some people think you may have a mental illness, fair or not, and not listen to anything you have to say.
Now if you can demonstrate to these same people that life is likely to be better for them and their offspring in a majority White country (as the US has been since its founding), rather than the extension of Latin America (with all the inequality and corruption that entails) it currently seems destined to become if borders are not enforced then some might be won over to your position or at least not support your opposition (i.e., the globalist oligarchs) if they can overcome their programming and come to understand those folks are clearly hurting them and their families too.

People of the African Diaspora are crystal clear who is hurting them and their families—-the White majority and their adjacent allies.
For people of African descent living in USA, Canada, UK or anywhere in Latin America, life is marked by inequality and aggression meted out by the White majority.
The only “programming” African/Black Diasporans have to overcome is the belief that they will be treated with fairness and equity in White majority societies without sustained struggle against White supremacists ideology.
For White supremacists, a sense of identity and well-being rests on the degradation of Black people. That dynamic is baked into the structure of White majority societies.
The whole notion of Whiteness is a feat of social engineering cooked up by colonial oligarchs in 1676 Virginia. It’s purpose was to keep working class people of all backgrounds from banding together against them.
The resounding success of their social engineering
gaslightingprogram is evident in both your commentary and the regurgitative rantings of PK.Modern “globalist/oligarchs” fund and provide political cover for rightwing, White supremacists. White supremacist groups in majority White countries are effectively tools for “globalist/oligarchs”.

Ah Afrofem, sorry to see that our brief period of agreement has come to an end.
You believe the globalists/oligarchs work together with and support so called “White supremacists”, which I’m sure you’d say includes Trump and his supporters.
Actually, the globalists despised Trump and hate any potential nationalist movements, because those threaten its control. It’s why they hate Russia as well.
You hear “racism bad” on TV all the time because they want to program the population to focus on that and not to resist globohomo.
Occupy Wallstreet hit a little too close to home. The oligarchs found out that they can send a check to BLM and still get super rich, while saying they support “social justice”, though, except for a few affirmative action hires (probably disproportionately represented in abagond’s reasership), they have just further impoverished the Black community (and most Whites as well) by lowering the value of wages to assets.
Anyway, I don’t expect to be able to shake all or most of you out of your programming, but maybe there are a couple people who will see this and begin to question the indoctrination they get from school and the media (yes, Fox News is no better really–for example, no one is allowed to talk about disproportionate Jewish control of anything, other than to quickly dismiss it as a “conspiracy theory”).
