Talk of the devil–
I think the page owner was referring to my humble person – although I am not an Orthodox or even a Christian (not mentioning the fact that I do not define myself as ‘Russian’, but since any person from the former USSR area would be defined as ‘Russian’, who cares?)
I’ve never seen any other person who could be defined as ‘Russian’ here, but maybe this is because of not so many ‘Russians’ would like to keep company with compatriots.
Thanks to Abagon anyway. The picture itsels looks like a nice counter-trolling by itself š

Really? Somehow I don’t think abagond is referring to actual Russians but to those he perceives as using Russian talking points and spreading Putin propaganda.
So youre actually Russian? What’s a nagpo? You are far away from home, socio=politically speaking. Does that make you a troll?
Do you create trouble on this blog and get people upset for your own amusement? Are you not seriously interested in the subjects you comment on?
If that’s not true of you, youre not a troll. Just Russian.

Right, English is ambiguous language.
Well, I had my first socialisation in a Finnish-speaking environment, in a less ambiguous language, and though I am fluent in Russian I don’t define myself as a Russian (besides, there is no exact criteria of being Russian; I am not a Russian by my languages – I speak one language for everyday life, the other for business, the third for prayers, – a nag-po is a term from my tradition meaning ‘black’ or ‘dark’ – etc.; and I am not Russian by religion as most of my compatriots might put it. Of course we have such criteria as race and genes, but they are rather biological than ethnical and I don’t think they define a nationality in the sense most Americans would).
Some topics here are interesting and important for me, e.g. the history of Black civil rights movement in USA (and you might besurprised by the fact that many Russians call people from Caucasus Mountain Region or Middle Asia ‘Blacks’, although this fact doesn’t have to do anything with my tradition), and the history of Russian slavery within the same ethicity sometimes reminds me of that in the New World. At least the cultural and sociological consequences for both ethnicities are very much alike.
Other topics, as LBGT ‘civil rights’, I regard as nothing but a travesty of civil rights movement.
As for causing troubles, many communities, both on- and offline, has seen many tribulations upon my appearance there, but I wouldn’t vouch for the fact that I caused them intentionally or that the disturbances were caused by my presence.

In Internet slang, a troll (/ĖtroŹl/, /ĖtrÉl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll’s amusement.
Havent seen too many people like that here. Russian or otherwise. Its amusing to joke about someone being a Russian troll. But taking your running joke as a fact, as I’m sure some of your readers do, is another thing altogether. Like I have said to someone else here, give it a rest.

Of course the other thing that makes me a Russian apologist is that I watch RT. I have determined that RT is the best news source available. That’s why I watch it. Not because its Russian. Also, its political slant is diametrically opposed to that of MSM, Hence RT will reveal to American audiences what would otherwise be hidden by MSM. It is the antidote to American propaganda. And even if it turns out that RT is simply Russian propaganda pitted against its American counterpart, the truth is RT is simply much better, particularly in handling black issues and war issues. The Russians simply have a better product. And I am a savvy consumer. Just like Americans started buying Japanese when they started making better cars, they started watching Russian news when it became more truthful than MSM. So yeah, I’m a fan of RT. Doesn’t make me an apologist for Russia.

matter of fact, hola, an extension loaded by default in chrome, is expressly designed to conceal your location, and it’s loosely considered a ‘proxy’. the designation ‘proxy’ as in a ‘computer server’ does not equate in a traditional sense to the term ‘proxy’ as in english. A proxy server is intended to authenticate you as a particular user of a computer network and access either internal or external network elements ie the internet, corporate home page, etc.
a ‘vpn’ or ‘virtual private network’ is intended to authenticate a user from an external location to access protected (read: mostly internal) network assets.
The combination of these two concepts in hola seems to more or less skip the authentication part except for creating a ‘network session,’ but the proxy is more closer to the english term in that another machine will send and receive your web traffic, and forward it to your machine. being part of a ‘peer to peer’ network, you will also send and receive other people’s traffic, and expose yourself to more risk (from all sides) than necessary, but it’s, again, there by default with chrome.
Closing note: the developers of hola better internet expressly deny it being a ‘peer to peer’ application, curiouser and curiouser.

Its dangerous when a lie is taken as truth, especially when this happens among people in high places. Because these fools will be deciding whether we go to war. And they’ll be basing their decision on what they believe about the innate villainy of Russians, the Machiavellian machinations of Putin and Russiagate. These fools will be starting WW3 under a delusion. Truly, they have lost their minds.

Interesting. I did not know that something that could be defined as a deep state had been around that long. Idk but I associate the advent of the deep state with birth of the CIA. In any case MSM may be an integral part, I’m not sure. I think of it as an outsource of the executive wing of the Deep State, which as I have said I take to be the CIA. MSM works for the Deep State in the sense that it does not call the shots and follows the orders of the power brokers within the Deep State. MSM reports to and works directly under the CIA.

This country has had something of a deep state since it’s founding; albeit in embryonic form. The networks of power and influence have always been there.
The press/media, once somewhat independent has developed a partnership with other the complex we call the Deep State. They are less servile than you think. They tend to feed on each other.
Think of how different things would be in this country if Hollywood, Madison Avenue, the TV networks, Silicon Valley and the papers of record (NYT, WSJ, LA Times and Boston Globe, etc.) had an adversarial relationship to Beltway power brokers instead of the cozy stenography they engage in now.

The US power interests of 1846 consisted of slavery supporters, Westward Expansionists (the Manifest Destiny Crowd), Northern Bankers and the newspapers of the era. This power nexus promoted and amplified a series of pretext incidents to push the American public into supporting a war of aggression against Mexico.
According to Richard Sanders in the article, How to Start a War: The American Use of War Pretext Incidents:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/how-to-start-a-war-the-american-use-of-war-pretext-incidents/28554
In 1846, US newspapers partnered with other powerful groups to inflame US public opinion with headlines such as: āMexicans Killing Our Boys in Texasā. They contributed as much to the theft of Mexicoās northern territories as President Polk, Congress and the military. No one commanded their support. They were integral to the war effort. They acted as wives, not handmaidens.
In my opinion, these US power interests in 1846 represented an embryonic form of the US Deep State. Their primary focus was the same as now: constant war making, land grabs, resource domination and domestic repression of working class Americans as well as non-White people.

Interesting about that site. I wasn’t aware that that small bar could be clicked on at particular intervals. My bad. I was wondering where the time bar was. at any rate, its good to know the source of the statement about the press being an integral part of the deep state. To know the source of the statement that I don’t know enough about yet to disagree with but which I am still not buying. I will have to investigate his argument further.
Not convinced of the embryonic deep state either. The press’s function has always been to influence opinion, especially on behalf of the state. Whether this amounts to a secret agenda, as in the case of a deep state is another question. I am of the opinion that the deep state, as we now know it, had its genesis in the national security state. secret societies like Skull and Bones, with the post WW II influx of Nazism. The Deep State is characterized by secrecy. Its great power and influence over our government makes it a cryptocracy. I don’t see the press as an integral part of it because the press operates publicly and is primarily the vehicle the Deep State uses to make its dictates known.
