Stacey Dash (1966- ), a brainless Black American beauty, is best known for playing a Black Best Friend in “Clueless” (1995). She is also a millionaire, Black Republican and Romney voter. All of that has made her perfect for what she has become since 2014: a talking head on right-wing Fox News.
On Fox News she offers what it calls “cultural analysis and commentary”, stuff like this, on January 20th 2016 (bolding mine):
“I think [boycotting an All-White Oscar Awards is] ludicrous. We have to make up our minds; either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards, and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard […] Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. We’re American, that’s it.“
Playing her Rented Negro part to perfection, putting a Black face to White opinion. Even her cousin, Damon Dash, says she was cooning.
Twitter went nuts. @DavidDTSS, for example, said:
“‘I gotta be more careful with who I make fine as hell…’ – God, listening to Stacey Dash talk.”
BET, not missing a beat, answered her on Instagram:
“Soooooo @realstaceyldash, can we get our check back… or nah?
The picture showed her on their television show, “The Game”, where she appeared in 2011.
On BET Jams, its hip hop station, it played all the music videos she has been in – while in the corner of the screen they had #NeverForget.
Just so you know:
- BET, a television channel created by and for Black people, is now owned by White people!
- Non-Blacks have won BET and NAACP Image Awards, like Bono, Sandra Oh and Ernest Tidyman, who co-wrote “Shaft” (1971). Even Iggy Azalea has been nominated!
As to Stacey Dash herself:
- She has been a presenter at the NAACP Theatre Awards.
- She has been on the covers of Black magazines like Jet, King, Smooth (twice), Heart & Soul and, yes, Pride.
In reply to BET, Dash wrote a blog post: “How BET Lies to Black People”:
“I’m thankful for all of the acting jobs I’ve had. But I look forward to the day when people don’t self-segregate based on skin color, while loudly complaining about a segregated society. […]
“BET lies to American black people by telling them that the rest of America is racist, so stick close to your own kind. Anything that promotes segregation is bad!”
Not seeing that BET Awards and the rest are filling a need created by the self-segregation of Whites. the All-White Oscars being a perfect example.
In 2013 she supported Paula Deen, a television cook who got in trouble for using the N-word.
She has been in a string of films and television shows, apparently put there more for her looks than for her acting talent.
