Donald Trump’s sex scandal (2016- ) has been all over the news in the US this past week. Trump says it is a plot “orchestrated by the Clintons and their media allies.” He is running for president against Hillary Clinton.
The election is three and a half weeks away. Trump is dropping like a rock in the polls, especially among women voters. But wait:
Just after the scandal broke, WikiLeaks started putting out emails from the Clinton campaign. The FBI suspects WikiLeaks is getting the emails from Russian hackers. Some of the emails seem to be real, but some might be doctored. So far nothing has come out that can equal the tsunami of Trump’s sex scandal and his amazing mishandling of it. But WikiLeaks might be saving the best for last.
The scandal broke on October 7th 2016: the Washington Post made public never-before-aired video from the NBC television show “Access Hollywood” in 2005. On it Trump is talking to Billy Bush, cousin of former President George W. Bush. Trump does not know he is being recorded:
Trump: Yeah that’s her with the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful… I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.
Bush: Whatever you want.
Trump: Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.
“Pussy” is a vulgar word, but worse, he is boasting about a sex crime.
Trump is famous for “telling it like it is”, but this he says is just “locker room talk”, not something he has ever done. But now women are coming forward, one after another, saying that he was telling it like it is! He says they are lying.
It is a he-said-she-said thing, but the he has told so many lies that his words hold little weight. And some of the shes have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post and People magazine, which would be careful to avoid lawsuits for libel.
Trump, in his classic tone-deaf fashion, said of one of the women:
“Look at her. Look at her words. Tell me what you think. I don’t think so.”
He is not getting it.
He also uses the thief-thief technique, bringing up Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill’s sex scandals from the 1990s. That is a red flag pointing to Trump’s guilt.
Some Republicans are now distancing themselves from him. Apparently they draw the line at White women, not Muslims or Mexicans or Blacks.
Most Republicans, though, are sticking with him, even much of the religious right, people like James Dobson, who said of Bill Clinton in 1998:
“As it turns out, character DOES matter. You can’t run a family, let alone a country, without it. How foolish to believe that a person who lacks honesty and moral integrity is qualified to lead a nation and the world!”
– Abagond, 2016.
Update (January 17th 2018): Just weeks before the election, Trump’s lawyer reportedly paid $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, a porn actress, to keep quiet about her relationship with Donald Trump. This is being reported only now, over a year later, by the Wall Street Journal. At the time Fox News knew about it but killed the story.
Colin Jost on “Saturday Night Live”:
“Let me just say what a thrill it is to be alive a time when ‘Porn star blackmails president’ is, like, the fourth biggest story of the week. At this rate, in a year from now, we’re going to find ‘Trump found with dead hooker’ right next to the crossword puzzle.”

Bill Clinton has dallied in more recent SEX scandals since the ’90s.
“Bill’s credible relations with elite pedophile and general cretin Jeffery Epstein are a matter of record, a relationship that the American people deserve to know more about. As the New York Post recently reported on James Patterson’s new book entitled, Filthy Rich: A Powerful Billionaire, the Sex Scandal that Undid Him, and All the Justice Money Can Buy, Clinton was far more than a casual acquaintance of Epstein:
“Epstein has spent the bulk of his adult life cultivating relationships with the world’s most powerful men. Flight logs show that from 2001 to 2003, Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s private plane, dubbed “The Lolita Express” by the press, 26 times. After Epstein’s arrest in July 2006, federal tax records show Epstein donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation that year.”

A guy with loose morals like Bill Clinton is likely to have done much worse than have sex with children. With him along side Mrs President Hillary in the White House, they combine to make a fantastic duo to blackmail – just to keep the worst of their (non -imagined) scandals from coming out to the public in humiliation and disgrace.
Moreover, if these two are subject to blackmailing, what wouldn’t they do to the citizens of the USA (or the entire world) to avoid prison, or worse – to escape such blackmail?
Trump might be a racist, sexist pig, but compared to the Clintons, he just a baby … nowhere as dangerous as Bill and Hillary, liars extraordinaire and very experienced highway robbers — the Bonnie and Clyde gangsters from Arkansas.

This whole election is disgusting and i will be glad when it ends. I am reminded of an old episode of Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect, George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic was on the panel, this during the Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal and he joked this is what politics is lying and sex go together. I understand now why it called “politricks.” In politics nothing is fair somebody is going to get thrown under the bus. So much dirt and mud slinging. And this is how our government works. I watch ABC’s Scandal and even though it’s fiction, judging from what we are witnessing in this election it’s not too far from the truth.

Billy Bush is such a possum i can’t stand him especially during the Olympics and being and apologist for that douche Ryan Lochte and his idiotic friends after their shenanigans in Rio. NBC suspended him. He’s the typical example of white privilege and entitlement. Hope he gets drug through the mud too.

Frankly, at this point imho whatever supposed good Trump could do as POTUS is moot in the face of his temperament alone. Even if he wasn’t a racist, misogynistic, megalomaniacal xenophobe, his debate performances, his rhetoric during rallies. and his responses to the charge against him are completely disqualifying.

What do you suppose a person with Bill Clinton’s OVERT inclinations toward women/females and SEX was doing flying around multiple times on a billionaire pedophile’s personal jet? Soliciting donations for his Clinton Foundation?
Why would it take more than 22 times flying around in a plane dubbed the Lolita Express to get a measly 25K donation — from a billionaire?
I suggest you do a search on youtube re Bill Clinton and young women.

@Zoe Jordan,

As far as I’m concerned, Trump is the new kid in town. He hasn’t held any reins of power in gov’ment anywhere. Compare that with the know-how and the combined times in office as the Gov’ner of Arkansas, 2X President, First Lady, Senator, Sec of State, renters of the Lincoln bedroom in the scandal ridden white house. What scandals? All the ones that couldn’t get covered up!
Flight 800 getting shot down, China-gate, Whitewater, Tainted blood gate. Mena Arkansas drug distribution hub, Vince Foster, Ron Brown, Juanita Brodderick, Kathleen Wily, Jennifer Flowers and others. There were no “imagined” scandals. Look ’em up! There were just non-stop scandals with the Clintons.
I wouldn’t let this sad state of affair take away my will to live. I hope most people aren’t thinking like that. But then, I’m no longer surprised by what people do – given the state of how badly things are going on in the world.
I’m no Trump fan, but I find it strange that folks are comparing an apple to a potato as if they are both the same thing. Trump may be whatever he is, but he’s not even in the same league, or universe as the felons in crime. It’s so bad they’ve got both the FBI AND the AG of the USA protecting their backs.
Amerika loses if either candidate wins.
Amerika loses faster and more thoroughly/fatally if the Clinton crime syndicate wins.

Trump has not released his tax returns, so we do not even know what his conflicts of interests are. Voting for him is like shooting in the dark.
Also, whoever hacked the DNC and the Clinton campaign emails almost certainly hacked Trump too. So he is open to possible blackmail too. The sad thing is, if it is the Russian government that is behind the hacked emails, they will not even have to blackmail him since he is already their (unwitting?) stooge.

I’m not advocating voting for anyone. I’m just calling this mess as I see it.
In actuality it matters not who votes for whom. What matters is who is counting the votes. What matters is that the election system in the USA is broken… dead voters are still casting votes, etc, etc. Die-bold voting machines cast votes not according to voters choices but their by their (paperless) PROGRAMMING and other dirty tricks. The electoral college can come into effect and overrule the oft manipulated popular vote count under certain circumstances so the rigging can occur at many points and precincts in the national process.
It takes an honest and forthright nation to hold an honest and forthright election.

By credible I mean broadsheet. It would be good to read a broadsheet account rather than tabloid.
It is very frightening when a ‘First world’ country like yours has the kind of people running for presidency that one would normally associate with a corrupt dictatorship. I just cannot fathom how it has not been stopped. Jeremy Corbyn has recently been in all sorts of trouble here for lieing about a train having no seats for the passengers to sit on when it, in fact, did! I think we have some pretty high class problems here compared to you guys.
I really, really do not understand what is going on over there. how has it been allowed to come to this? (rhetorical question)

@ Zoe,
It took a little bit out of my normal programming schedule to find out what “broadsheet” means. It’s not a common word heard much on this side of the pond, but now I get what you’re saying.
Most TV news in Amerika are (or seems like)15 – 30 sec sound bites of very Tabloid-ish content. Most newspapers appears to be similar or moving in that direction… News/stuff that’s designed to stop the blood flow in peoples’ brains. Or, make you dumbed down! I try not to take in too much of that noise.
Broadsheet by contrast is a more detailed larger account of a news piece.
Yet, I think I find SOME internet news sites more credible than many mainstream broadsheet publishers (here in US) because they haven’t been as compromised by hidden/unsavory agendas..blah, blah …
SOME internet news sites, imo, often tells the public about serious news many newspapers and TV/radio stations won’t touch. Mainstream media frequently reports on specific news items only after the Internet has first exposed it.
Newspapers are dying and social media (youtube, FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc) seems to be replacing the boob tube.
—————————————————–
“I think we have some pretty high class problems here compared to you guys.”
That’s an interesting and amusing way to put it: “high class problems…”
Amerika isn’t a high class nation. It’s a successfully dumbed down and distracted nation. Are people in the UK as attached/addicted to their cell phones (texting) like the people in the US?
Dumb/distracted and high class is kind of like oil and water. Doesn’t mix well!

I agree to a certain point with what you say, the problem with tabloid papers (Including online versions) is that they just are not so serious or credible as I said before. And whilst independent sites may be prepared to say what corporate run papers won’t it follows that they don’t really have anything to lose by embellishing or making stories up. The New York Times (for example) on the other hand does so imo one is much more likely to get a truer version of a story from there. Of course all news corportions have an agenda and support a political side so that has also to be taken into account. Perhaps The NYT lies in support of the Clintons for example as they are on a payroll (I’m not saying they do I’m just using that as an example)
In the US and the UK most people do not realise just how high class our problems are despite being completely dumbed down. We have everything we need and a hell of a lot we don’t need. If you’re worried because your car needs work on it or you can’t decide which is the best school to send your kid to you have a high class problem, My dog needs a walk and I don’t want to go out because I feel lazy! How high class is that problem?! Winter is coming, homeless people are going to start dieing of hypothermia. Somewhere in the world a Mother is watching her child slowly die of starvation, women get raped, children live with addict parents – These are not high class problems.
Most every day problems for us are high class when you look at them.
Yes, we are dumbed down here, easily as much as you guys. Everyone has their face stuck in their phones 24/7. Everyone believes what they read on Facebook is the whole truth. Shopping malls are the new churches and we worship daily for hours on end. Spending money on crap we don’t need is a full time job. I feel dumb/distracted and high class is the perfect combination. We are right where the bankers and politicians want us to be.
