This song came out in 1980 but did not chart. But now, 42 years later, it is more famous than ever by appearing in “Wednesday” (2022- ), a US television show by Tim Burton about the teen years of Wednesday Addams, she of the Addams Family. The video shown above is from a high school dance. Her dance moves were inspired in part by goths of the early 1980s – and even by the 1960s television show. The song is about a horny vampire. She is not a vampire herself, but there are vampires at her school, Nevermore Academy.

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
When the sun goes down, and the moon comes up
I turn into a teenage goo goo muck
Yeah, I cruise through the city and I roam the street
Looking for something that is nice to eat
[Refrain]
You better duck
When I show up
The goo goo muck
[Verse 2]
I’m the night headhunter looking for some head
With a way out body underneath that head
Well I’ll get you baby with a little luck
‘Cause I’m teenage tiger and a goo goo muck
[Refrain]
You better duck
When I show up
The goo goo muck
[Guitar solo]
[Verse 3]
Yeah, the city is a jungle and I’m a beast
I’m a teenage tiger looking for a feast
I want the most but I’ll take the least
‘Cause I’m a goo goo muck tiger and a teenage beast
[Refrain]
You better duck
When I show up
The goo goo muck
[Outro]
The goo goo muck
