Remarks:
In 1987 this went to #34 on the US R&B chart, #44 on the pop chart, but seemed to have been much bigger than that in their native New York. The video looks and sounds like the late 1980s to me, I can clearly see that, yet strangely, somehow, the music does not seem dated to me. Probably because it has been burned into my brain.
The middle Cover Girl in the video, Angel Clivillés, remade the song in 2000. If her last name seems familiar that is because she married the older brother of one of the C’s in C + C Music Factory.

OMG!!! THE 1980’s! I must admit I was the quintessential 1980’s chick!!! I had at least four Body Glove outfits, big hair, lots of eyeliner and lip gloss.
