I am voting for Democrat Joe Biden against Republican Donald Trump in the US presidential election on November 3rd 2020:
- To fight the pandemic. In a sense it is not Biden who is on the ballot but Dr Fauci, the country’s leading infectious disease expert whom Trump and his followers want to fire. “Fire Fauci!” they chant. No: Fire Trump. Trump could fight the pandemic way better than Biden if only because he could get his followers to wear face masks. But instead he has politicized masks. How utterly idiotic. He is getting people killed. He has to go. Since he seems bent on herd immunity, voting him out will save at least a million lives right off the top. That exceeds the number of abortions a year, to put it in “pro-life” terms.
- To save what is left of democracy: I know that sounds melodramatic. I was informed of that four years ago. And while Trump is not (yet) Hitler, Trump is more like Hitler than he was four years ago. So my fears were not unfounded. Masha Gessen, who lived under Putin in Russia and wrote of his rise from democrat to autocrat, says this election is the last best chance to save what is left of democracy in the US. And it is not just Trump: even back in 2012 part of why I voted against Romney was because of Republican voter suppression. It has only become worse. Voting Republican is a vote against democracy.
- To help stop the rise of White nationalism: both politically and culturally. The Republican Party is leading the nation towards White minority fascist rule. That is not the America I was taught to believe in or want to live in. For my family there is little hope for the future in a country like that. Only survival. Or emigration.
- To do something about climate change: Under the Republicans nothing will be done and time is running out.
Growing up I was taught to believe in science, democracy and anti-racism. By that measure it is not even close. It is Biden hands down. Though with Trump the bar has been set very low.
Last spring I voted for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic party primary elections. So I am hardly a fan of Joe Biden. He is a corporate Democrat. The idea that he is a puppet of the radical left is laughable. If only. He has shifted somewhat left because of people like Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and AOC, but once in power he will almost certainly shift right, back towards what his donors want. But it is bound to be better than under Trump.
I want Trump and the Republicans to lose in a landslide so humiliating that the Trump Era becomes an Embarrassing Chapter in US history, one that Republicans distance themselves from. So I am voting a straight Democratic ticket, if only to help knock some sense into Republicans. Because otherwise Trump and Trumpoids will dog us for years to come.
– Abagond, 2020.

Emails and texts, the authenticity of which the Biden’s have still never specifically denied, show Biden is a traitor and has sold out to China for personal gain (taking 50% of his degenerate son’s salary).
Photos and videos show incest and pedophilia in the Biden family and point to Joe knowing about it (in addition to his likely abuse of his own daughter).
If Joe Biden cares so much about renewable energy and global warming why are he and his son making so much money from the likes of Burisma?
In addition to that, Biden is clearly senile and will be controlled by his handlers. They can’t drug him up every day to get him to perform, as in the debates. He will make a mockery of the presidency.
He will pack the courts and add DC and PR as states and there will be no pretense that we are still in the same country with 3 branches of government. Dems have demographic change on their side, but they are so greedy for power that they can’t wait even a few more years.
The lockdowns can continue indefinitely and be restarted whenever, maybe every flu season. Covid has largely replaced the fu globally (as flu cases are way way down).
The real economy will collapse.
With police defunding and more race baiting, you’ll have more riots and instability. A huge faction on the left wants Socialist revolution and Biden won’t stop them.
Big business, Wall Street, the tech oligarchs and the billionaire class solidly supports Biden because they want to keep sucking out profits from globalism and could care less about the American middle class.
It’s a sad day when Abagond is on the same team with all of that.
Nobody thinks Trump is perfect or a candidate for a sane world. But he’s the only one who has successfully stood up against the oligarchs who are destroying this country.

Oh and the Neocons and military industrial complex have abandoned Trump because he isn’t supporting their pointless wars. They’ll feel right at home in a Biden administration. You’ll see how we suddenly “need” to send troops to protect supposes American interests in some far away lands most of the US population can’t even locate on a map.

I am reading Octavia Butler’s Parable Of The Sower. The dystopian hellscape she created is what I believe we would be living in under an authoritarian government with a re-election of Trump.

I know a lot of people don’t like Trump. They say he’s a loud mouth narcissist. They say he’s sexist and racist. Unfortunately Biden is an absent minded buffoon. And he’s made a lot of condescending remarks towards black people. But I’m sure most people would say Biden is the the lesser of two evils. But you’re still choosing evil. The truth is all candidates are bought and paid for by corporations. Politicians don’t work for the interest of the people. That’s why nothing ever improved. They’re all just puppets. Voting is just to give the masses the illusion of choice. You’re better off voting independent. Or detach from this man made matrix. But people don’t like to use any critical thinking skills. Until they raise their consciousness and see the deception nothing will ever change.

I have to admit, I have no expectations that a huge election loss will “banish” Trump.
IMO, if Trump loses in 2020, regardless of how badly Trump loses he’ll be here to stay as long as breath remains in his body. Long before he ever entered the White House he had made a name for himself as Birther in Chief. Adding ex-president to his résumé will not hurt him in the least.
We’ll be hearing from him in the media, he’ll probably have his own very popular show, he’ll still have his fans, he’ll continue to tweet, he’ll bash the new administration non-stop, and he’ll continue to influence GOP politics. Just as Obama was out campaigning for Biden, you can be sure Trump will be supporting his preferred Republican candidates.

Under Trump’s administration, Republicans confirmed three Supreme Court justices, 53 appeals court judges, 143 district court judges and two judges on the U.S. Court of International Trade. The # (201) of appointments are more than any done under other presidents in history. Of the appointments, 76% of the judges are men of which 4% are Black. Hardly representative of a diverse America. Yet you’re worried about Biden and the Dems being greedy for power. Give me a break.
“With police defunding and more race baiting, you’ll have more riots and instability. A huge faction on the left wants Socialist revolution and Biden won’t stop them.”
How will defunding the police cause more riots? Who race baits more than right wingers who have the demonization of Black unarmed victims killed by police down to a science? Does LA’s police force need a $1.8 billion budget to operate? Or does it make sense to redirect some of the funds to more community-based programs, mental health, food insecurity, school and other programs that would make communities safer? Especially from trigger-happy police who only know how to de-escalate for certain people.

And so are you “on the same team” as all of Trump’s supporters, like the Proud Boys and the Taliban?

Looks like Biff got that right at least. lol
“Biden building a team of people with connections to weapons manufacturers and the military industrial complex is a prime example of how militarism and imperialism are bipartisan,” says Sidney Miralao, an organizer with Dissenters, a group of young people who oppose U.S. militarism and the war industry. “Democrats and Republicans alike perpetuate and profit off of war and violence in our communities at home and abroad. By continuing the legacy of the revolving door with the defense industry, Biden and his team are setting themselves up to be able to continue growing the military and strengthening the narrative that war is necessary to safety.”
