I found a question on Yahoo Answers written by a white girl asking if she should date an Asian boy who she found attractive. She mentioned that she had asked her white male friends if she should date him, and all of them had told her not to, because it seemed “weird” to them. She was confused because most of her white male friends were dating Asian girls.

This reeks of white male sexism and racism and shows a glaring racial double standard. It goes to show that white males feel they have the right to pursue women of different races in the name of equality, but at the same time, they feel that minority males should keep their hands off white women, who they see as belonging to themselves, not others.

I don’t think white women are a prize to be won. I actually recommend against dating white for anyone. I just think it is important to notice the anti-Asian male racism in American society and how that colors people’s views of what is acceptable for relationships.

Not surprisingly, she is married to a white husband and has no problems receiving the benefits of the white club, even taking pride in society seeing her as a China Doll stereotype.

I would say about 50% of white male/Asian female couples are superficial as I have noticed white men and Asian women in relationships who will diss Asian men behind their backs. True love between a white male and an Asian female is healthy, but it is neither healthy nor true love if either member feels the need to put down Asian men in order to justify their relationship. In such cases, I fear for their children, especially if they have boys.

Don’t get me wrong, Asian men would do just the same if given the chance. But due to stereotypes of Asian men as feminine and unattractive, white women look down on Asian men and do not give them the same chance that white men give Asian women, who they stereotype as submissive and desirable.

That dude was alpha…or at least had alpha traits since it seems like he was their leader and had a lot of influence.

When the 8th grade rolled around, it was like a “club” has been established especially after this one new student arrived who was a white male. This dude was a class clown, but was rude to women, non-blacks, and other white dudes who didn’t want to hang with him. He was especially rude towards me even though I never done anything to him. I was his personal punchline. What was really messed up was the white boys whom I was cool with followed him around forming a little clique and started being like him. What’s really sad, and I hate to admit this, but I wanted them to like me as well. Looking back, I had no idea why I wanted it.

By high school, he moved, but the damage was done. I never realized until I was older how screwed up it was. I thought it was just a teen thing to hang around people you’re familiar with, but there was much more to it as white kids hung around together and black kids did the same even before and after that kid came into the picture.

Dunno about the Irish and Italians, but a word about the Jews. Almost no other ethnic or racial group in America — and certainly no other white sub-group — has shown more benevolence towards the blacks than the Jews.

And what is their reward? Blacks are the third most antisemitic ethnoracial group in America, after Muslims and foreign-born Hispanics. I have a theory about the reasons, but wouldn’t be averse to reading others’ opinions first.

You’re still not answering the question here , I too work with ‘liberals’ and live amongst ‘conservatives’ and your point is what exactly??
Perhaps your statement would have greater gravitas if you gave exmaples to support your profound statement.Of course I’ve observed the same, but am curious what a white/black(which are you?)guy may have some more insight as you’re warning us about some locker-room chat you boys may have had about us dusky ladies.
